This is an experiment to see how honest people can be if they don't have to identify themselves. Some silly, some deep, but all require honesty.

How well do you get along with your in-laws? Why? (submitted questions. Thanks!)

I feel very lucky to love my in laws and get along with them the way I do. ESPECIALLY when I hear horror stories from other people. They do some annoying things that I don't know if I could stand if we lived in the same town but overall we have a great relationship.
I get along with my in-laws with much difficulty. They are great people and wonderful grandparents. But they are also very passive-aggressive and treat my husband like a child. They are also not very supportive of him, although they think they are. When your spouse is hurt by his parents it makes it hard to really like them.
LOVE them! I feel SO blessed to have wonderful in-laws. Although, I agree with #1, if we lived in the same town, it would be more difficult. My mother detested her in-laws, and I saw first hand how that can hurt a whole family, so I have made the choice no matter what, to get along with them. Thankfully, they make it very easy!
I am blessed with great in-laws. i agree with #1 -- I hear horror stories from other people and realize how fortunate I am! My father-in-law is not very outgoing and it's kind of hard to talk to him. But, I have good in-laws.
NOT wonderfully! I love them both very much. My FIL is not a problem at all, but my MIL is very manipulative and very passive aggressive. There wasn't much of a problem until we had children. I guess my parenting style isn't just like hers and it is an issue for her. Oh I could keep going, but I wont. I am very thankful that they are in our lives and that they raised my husband to be the man he is.
I hate the emotional pain my FIL has caused to my husband. It's hard for me to not to be angry about it, even though it didn't happen to me. My MIL let all that junk happen and never stood up for any of them...but she stands up and defends other people in similar situations. It's messed up and hard for me to keep my mouth shut about it.
I do love them, and I pray that I can work through these feelings. I know with God's help I can.

We get along great. They never are nosey about our business and are great grandparents.
Wonderful, we have never lived in the same part of the country as them.
